selected portions of an overall maintenance program as you request.
- Price discounts for multiple testing systems.
Listed below are two recommended preventive maintenance
for MTS Test Systems:
Preventive Maintenance for
Electromechanical Testing Systems The standard preventive maintenance
items for electromechanical systems listed below are typically performed during
calibration to reduce time and costs. MTS recommends following this schedule.
Annual Maintenance Cleaning/inspection:
Check system operation.
- Inspect/clean controller.
- Vacuum or blow out frame assembly base unit.
- Visually inspect drive belts for excessive wear.
Lubrication:
- Crosshead.
- Ballscrew - #2 white lithium grease.
Test and adjustment:
- Perform speed test.
- Perform system drift test and adjust as required.

Actuator
Remanufacturing Program Load Units with Integral Actuators Model 204 Model 231.xx to 248.xx Model 242.xx to 244.51 End Cap Remanufacturing
If you're trying to decide whether to repair
your present actuator or replace it with a new one, here's a third, and
probably better solution: Consider having it remanufactured by MTS. |
Benefits of the MTS Actuator
Remanufacturing Program
- 15 month warranty: This assures you of a lasting
investment and the highest standards in quality control and workmanship. "
- Installation of latest designs: We incorporate
any of the product improvements that have been developed since your actuator
was manufactured.
- Manufacture and test to MTS specifications: This
assures you that your actuator will run at peak performance and will provide
maximum trouble-free service.
- All wear areas resurfaced: You can expect to
receive the same service life from your remanufactured actuator as you did from
the new one. All worn parts are resurfaced or replaced.
